* For government, non-government organizations and public bodies we count the number of employees directly involved in language and translation activities.
** Renewals invoiced on a calendar year basic with an invoicing date around mid December. Members who do not want to renew their membership must give notice before November 15.
*** Includes multimedia, such as demos and presentations.
**** For academic members, the first 15 million words are available without upload.
Members of the following associations receive a 20% discount on TAUS membership fees: Language Industry Association of Canada (AILIA), Association of Portuguese Translation Agencies (APET), Association of Translation Companies UK (ATC), Association of French Translation Companies (CNET), Japan Translation Federation (JTF), Association of Hungarian Translation Companies (MFE), Association of Finnish Translation Companies (SKTOL), Translators Association of China (TAC) and Netherlands Association of Translation Companies (VViN).
